What a fun, exhausting weekend! Friday: Drove 12 hours, including stopping in Nashville and picking up Bethany. We stayed the night in Kokomo, Indiana. Lesson learned: When you stop at a hotel at 1:30 in the morning, you can get discounted rates at the hotel. We stayed in Holiday Inn and it was sooo nice. I didn’t want to leave! I got up around 4:30 am on Friday morning to head to the airport. I took MARTA (Atlanta’s train service) for the first time which worked out pretty well. I think that’s a better alternative than making someone drive all the way out to their airport at ridiculous hours. My flight was uneventful, landing in Indy at 9am. It’s 11 pm and about 2 hours after I wanted to get to bed. This evening has not going very well, starting with overall not feeling good, and ending with a missing wallet which has been found now.
