Paul applied for a position next year working with IT. He had the first interview on May 4th, and they told him they would let him know if they were going to take the next step (a more official interview) on May 14th. Both Paul and I have been waiting anxiously, because this means a lot for us. The position is only for a year, which is good because I still have another semester and neither of us want to stay in Indiana. The year would be good for Paul… housing is cheap in Upland, so he’d be able to save money. He would be able to live with Isaac in his house, which I know Paul would love because they’re such good friends. Also, Paul wouldn’t have to get a car just yet, but would be able to get by with a bike. And most importantly, he’d be around next fall for me. :-)
So today Paul got an email, telling him that they would let him know in two weeks. I am so frustrated because whether Paul gets this job or not (which starts June 1st) means whether he goes home with his family after graduation or not. He doesn’t have money right now for a plane ticket to come back, and he doesn’t have a car to drive back. So yeah… this patience is frustrating me… I’m not a very patient person. :-) Maybe God’s trying to teach me something…?
