I forgot to mention in my last post… Recently I began to read Sallie’s blog over at A Gracious Home, and have been waiting with everyone else at the arrival of her baby! And, on Thursday, Caroline Elisabeth arrived! I am so excited for them! They have prayed for this baby a long time, so I can only imagine the joy they must be feeling right now!

So tonight was the Mercy Me/Audio Adrenaline concert in Duluth. It’s Audio Adrenaline’s farewell tour, and since I was a big fan of their when I was in high school, I decided that I’d really like to see them. So last night my company treated us all to a Braves game. It was quite fun; Paul and his brother & girlfriend came with us as well. We had excellent seats, field level, looking straight across the field to home plate. I’ve never been so close to the field before! We were calling to Andruw Jones but he was ignoring us. The game got really exciting in the 7th inning, as the Braves closed the runs gap, but not enough….

In one week, I will be getting married. Wow! But more importantly, today is my little brother’s 21st birthday! It seems hard to believe. Just 21 years ago, I was in the hospital asking my mother in my little 2 1/2-year-old-voice, “Who’s the baby’s mommy?” AJ and I haven’t always gotten along… In fact I can remember one day during church he punched me in the stomach.
