I was thrilled this weekend when my dear friend Bethany told me that she’s engaged! I totally ripped this picture of her and her sweetheart Alejandro from her Facebook profile:

Don’t they look happy???

Alejandro is from Colombia, and I’ve never met him but I’m sure he’s a great guy. (He better be, because he’s getting a great girl!) I think he has a totally awesome name. (For the non-Spanish-speakers out there, it’s pronounced “al-eh-HAN-dro”.)

Congrats to Bethany! And I look forward to her wedding which I think is late summer/early fall of this year.
