This week started by hitting the ground running. After a fairly relaxed weekend, I came in Monday with a bunch of things to take care of, and I worked hard all day. We are in the last week before our wedding. Paul and I were talking last night about how today is our last day alone until after we’re married. Tomorrow my parents come, then Thursday his family and the rest of my family come. So a couple of things have happened that have made me think about what marriage means to our society today. 1) When we went to pick up the marriage license, the lady peered at us over the counter and asked, “Are you sure you’re 18? Tonight I made some changes to our wedding website, including putting up directions to get to the church.
