This Christmas season was busy, but good. I didn’t feel overwhelmed, and I felt prepared. There were a few little things that didn’t get done, but overall… it was a good day. The girls loved it and it was so fun seeing their eyes light up with all the magic and wonder of Christmas. There’s a reason it is my favorite holiday! A month or so ago, my brother and sister-in-law mentioned that they were going to be meeting my sister in Asheville for the weekend and wanted to know if I wanted to come too. I considered it, but ultimately decided not to because we were actually just up in Asheville for our anniversary, and we saw Amy then too. So, AJ and Molly decided to stop in Atlanta and have lunch with us on their way up to North Carolina….
I don’t have many details yet (or pictures!), but I am so excited that this morning my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their little boy into the world! His name is Drew, and he clocked in at 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches long. He also is quite the timely fellow, as he was born right on his due date!! I am told that Molly did great and there were no complications. I am so excited for AJ and Molly, and can’t wait…
