This is a test
This year (or rather, last year) I did a test to see how many people actually read our Christmas letter.
At the end of the letter, I included this part:
The Future
As for the future, we are looking to add a new little one to our family sometime in late July 2012. So far, everything looks good – we got to hear the heartbeat last week! We are still a little nervous, but we hope that this baby sticks around with the help of the injections and extra vitamins I’ve been taking. Prayers for this would be appreciated!
Results of my survey… A lot of people read only the first page of my letter. My closest friends read the whole thing and responded right away. I may narrow the email list for next year. ;-)
And phew! Glad that’s over with! I can now feel freer to resume blogging again.

When you say your closest friends read the whole thing, are you defining “closest friends” by those who cared to read the whole thing *wink*, or is it a good consequence (or indicator?) that those who you already considered your “closest friends” actually did read the whole thing? Hehe. Just being facetious. *wink*
