I am leaving Orlando next Sunday for Atlanta. It’s really weird to be thinking about moving to a new city all by myself. I’m really excited, yet a bit nervous and scared. I’ve been apartment hunting which is fun yet it’s challenging (should I go for the smaller apartment to be close to the office? or is the higher rent worth it if i get free internet?) Any advice from others more knowledgable? What should I consider other than cost of rent and whether it has a screened in porch or not?

Tonight Joanna H., Carrie, and Katie came over for ice cream and a game of Scattergories. It was great fun, and it was fun to hear all about 2G and Taylor. Because Joanna and Carrie are both allergic to cats, I had to lock them in my bedroom and then vacuumed the living room and kitchen really well. I used the little hose attachment and tried to get all the nooks and crannies where cat hair could congregate. I kinda enjoyed cleaning like that, but I felt bad locking them in my room. Fortunately my roomies coming on Wednesday are not allergic to cats. :-)

I’m getting sleepy now and so I’ll blog more about my apartment possibilities later.
