So today was an unexpected vacation. They called me this morning and told me that they didn’t have enough for me to do so I shouldn’t come in. The drawbacks to being a freelancer. Since I already planned to be out Thursday and Friday, that’s a sudden 5 day holiday for me! Hooray. :-)

I decided to take the dog for a walk. Poor Spunky… She doesn’t get walks very often. After we started out, I decided to go to my grandmother’s house which is only 5 minutes away. It was enjoyable – the sun was shining, but there was a cool breeze that made it somewhat chilly. I had lunch with my grandmother and then came back in time to pick up my sister from school. We went to Baskin Robbins to redeem the coupon I got for Yahoo’s 10th birthday. It was fun.

Paul comes tomorrow! I’m so excited. I have a lot to do tomorrow. I have to vacuum the whole house, do laundry, finish cleaning my room, and balance my checkbook. I have a lot planned for while he’s here. We’re going to go see Phantom of the Opera (the movie – his second time and my third time) and The Incredibles (which is in the dollar theater!). We’re also going to get me a little pet of some sort. I know, you’re saying “Why another pet?” I guess I just love animals too much, and I love taking care of them.

I’m trying to decide between a little turtle, a mouse, and a hamster. I have been doing lots of research and I think I’m going to choose the one that is the cheapest with the least amount of upkeep (don’t want daily cleanings for a cage – sorry!).

Well I better get going and work on my room some. It’s going through some major reorganizing. I want it to look more invitational and less like a storage unit. That’s my goal anyhow. :-)
