We started Savannah on solids last week. We started with some rice cereal mixed with breastmilk, which she took pretty well. It was really liquidy at first, so after a few spoonfuls, I put it in a bottle and she finished it off eagerly. Last Saturday, every state in the United States except for Hawaii saw snowfall. I think that’s kinda amazing. Atlanta got a few inches, too. However, we weren’t here to enjoy it. Savannah and I drove up to Asheville, NC to visit my sister who lives up there. It snowed there so we basically stayed indoors the whole time. I’m just now getting around to setting up trash service. (I know, I know. Shhh!) As I printed and filled out the application, I remembered why I didn’t deal with it at the time. Today was not great. I could hardly drag myself out of bed at 10:30. I let Savannah sit in her bouncer and ignored her while I surfed the Internet. I spent the entire day at the computer, doing nothing productive. I let Paul make dinner. I felt listless today, and I think it was because I was unproductive. I have a long to do list and for some reason can’t get myself motivated. I hope tomorrow is better.
