I was really excited to see the Google homepage for today:

Paddington hails from “darkest Peru”. :-) That part always made me happy. Actually, there was another missionary girl I grew up with in Peru who was given a Paddington doll by a relative in the States and was told to “take him home to Peru” which we all thought was cute.

It always makes me happy to see references to Peru in literature, TV shows, movies, or popular culture. And Paddington is such a cute story too!
