Anyways… So when Paul and I registered at Linens N Things a month or so ago, we found this pattern we really liked called Pfaltzgraff “Sedona”. But me, being the artist that I am, wanted to get several different colors of plates that all match (instead of all the plates being the same). So we found the “Nuance” pattern that is very close to the Sedona. They had red, yellow (gold), and sage green dishes that match perfectly the multi-colored pattern of the Sedona. However, when we tried to register for the green ones, Linens N Things told me that this color is discontinued.

I was pretty sad about this, because I really love that color green and I thought it would soften the brighter red/gold combination. I decided today to go to Pfaltzgraff’s website and see if I could order some on clearance or something. But to my surprise, they had it there for sale! I guess only LNT is discontinuing the pattern. I also found a lot of fun things all in the Sedona pattern, like salt and pepper shakers and a wall clock. I decided to set up a registry at Pfaltzgraff and add all the items that LNT didn’t have. (It’s cheaper to get it from Pfaltzgraff, I realized.)
Okay, I’m silly but I’m super excited about our awesome dishes. :-) And I think it’s cool that both my Grandmother and I have Pfaltzgraff patterns. :-) (By the way, Grandma, your pattern is featured on the main Pfaltzgraff website on the top left!)
