Apparently there was a leak in the air conditioner, but it is fixed now. And both fish are still alive. So what should I do with my cats when I am in Indiana this weekend? My mom thinks I can just leave them at home, but I’m wary about doing that. I want to board them, but that’s really expensive…

So I had an interesting discussion yesterday about being a vegetarian/vegan. Someone I work with is a vegan (which means you don’t eat any animal product, including milk and cheese). I had never before understood the reasoning behind this, but she explained that for her it was because of the cruel and inhumane treatment of animals in order to get the milk, eggs, etc. from them. What are your opinions about this? Should we as Christians oppose eating animals and boycott this cruelty toward animals? Is this something I should be more aware about, or is it something blown out of proportion?
