one year anniversary
April must be the month for blogging. Both Matt and Steve started blogging in April, as well as Beth, Joanna, and Nichole. One year ago today I wrote my first post. I was debating whether to go with blogger or xanga, and obviously picked blogger (although my xanga blog is still active). Not too long after I started blogging, I got Zeke. A lot has happened since then… I cried a lot at the end of last year when all my friends were graduating, I got engaged, I did my internship, I planned a wedding, my fiance broke up with me, I went back to Taylor for my senior year, I moved to Fairlane, I had my senior show, I hit rock bottom as far as being depressed, I graduated, I moved back to Orlando, was given two cats, I got a temp job, I got a real job, and then I moved to Atlanta. Now I am about to move into my own apartment, buy my first car, and start out for the first time in a city completely on my own.
I am glad I kept up with the blogging. It’s turned into a good outlet for me, and a way to keep in touch with others. It’s also a good way to record what’s going on in my life.
And just for the record: I HATE CAR SHOPPING. Yes. I am the girl that car dealers love because I will pay more just to not have the headache of having to find a good car for not much money. If only my paycheck agreed with this logic. If it did, I would go buy a new Honda Civic and keep it for 15 years. Then hopefully I will be married and I’ll let my husband deal with it. I will do that as soon as I can afford it and I need a new car.
