today i learned a lesson. i learned that just because you can’t see next week’s page in the agenda doesn’t mean that you can ignore all assignments there. i also learned that profs here at taylor are generous and merciful. :-) i’m in the process of learning not to put off a paper for the two hours you have free in a day, because surely something else will come up and you won’t be able to work on your paper….
I was thinking today about how i’m eternally sleepy. I wonder if I will ever feel rested? I remember feeling very tired all through high school, and I was fairly good about bedtimes then. now of course i am always yawning, and i know it’s because i’m lucky if i even get 6.5 hours of sleep. i know that when i’m in a “real” job i will probably go to bed earlier. however, i don’t think i will ever be…
tonight is my last pick-a-date at taylor… and to end things it’s a nice fancy formal which of course I love. :-) i’m wearing what i wore to beth’s wedding in december, which is exciting that i get to wear it again. i’m nervouse because it’s supposed to thunderstorm tonight :-( i bought more fish and another frog yesterday. they seem to be happy, swimming around and such. my favorite thing is when i put the food in the top…
right now i’m at work at the library here at taylor, doing my usual web design. i was asking my boss what project he wanted me to work on next, and the conversation went like this: boss: do you feel comfortable with css?me: umm… the only thing i’ve done with CSS is altered pre-existing code. i recently set up a weblog and i changed the design significantly, and i had to mess with the CSS to do thatboss: that’s perfect!!!!…
fairlane 2L… that’s the apartment where i’ll be living next year with three other girls from olson. it should be interesting… we had our first roommate dinner tonight, and it was fun. i really want to get to know these girls… in some ways it makes me sad that it’s only for a semester, but on the other hand i am glad to graduate. :-) i hope people come visit me next semester. i don’t want to be completely shut…
