Last night I went to visit a girl named Ivy. She was in Spain with Bethany (a girl from 2G) last spring 2003 and she is working at Wycliffe as an intern this summer. Since neither of us have a lot of friends here in Orlando, Bethany suggested that we get together. Last night we did and it was a lot of fun. We took a walk and then sat and talked for a while. The downside is she lives pretty far from me… but hopefully we can make a point to see each other. Oh – one random fact, since I like making connections with people… When Ivy was in Spain she roomed with Carrie, who was my freshman roommate. How crazy is that?

My dad let me drive is convertible to her house and back… so that was over an hour I got to drive with the top down and my hair streaming around me… It was tons of fun and I felt very cool. I think I’m going to ask my dad to switch cars. So, if any of you are trying to decide where to take a vacation this summer, I would suggest Orlando as the coolest spot (especially if your name is Paul B.). Just think, free housing… I can drive you around in a very cool red convertible and show you all the spots to be (as if I know them all). How could anyone resist? :-) Well if anyone wants to come down, I would LOVE the company… since my sister’s not here this summer, we have an extra bedroom (complete with Marine Corp posters!). :-)

Oh, one more thing, I would like to point out that I went to a department store and was trying on some of their white prom dresses (cheaper alternative to a bridal store) and I would like everyone to know that I wore a normal size 10 and none of this size 14 junk. Take that, David’s Bridal! Ha!
