rearranging the rooms

I am unsatisfied by how our living and dining room are set up. So, the past few days I diligently measured all the walls and furniture, and put them into an online room planner to try and figure out the best configuration. However, I’m not finding a good solution so I was hoping my loyal blog readers might have some ideas. :-)

Today was not great. I could hardly drag myself out of bed at 10:30. I let Savannah sit in her bouncer and ignored her while I surfed the Internet. I spent the entire day at the computer, doing nothing productive. I let Paul make dinner. I felt listless today, and I think it was because I was unproductive. I have a long to do list and for some reason can’t get myself motivated. I hope tomorrow is better.

I feel such a sense of accomplishment! Our house is disorganized at best, and I have found it hard to summon the energy to tackle the mess. (It’s so overwhelming!) Savannah’s bedroom was no exception – it had become a storeroom for all things baby related, to the point where I simply just found a space on the floor for her clean clothes.
