I guess people don’t want to read about how much I miss my fiancé. *sigh* I will keep those thoughts to myself then. In other news, today I started my internship. It was a long day, after a seemingly longer sleepless night. My mom has given me some sleeping pills to take next time my body decides to deprive me of sleep for no reason at all. I hate that my body does this to me. Hopefully the pills work….
I am excited. Paul has called me twice, once from Indy last night and then again tonight from New York. He’s doing alright and isn’t that bored yet, but rather has just been sleeping a lot this past day. He gets home around noon-ish tomorrow. :-) I’m glad he called me. It was good to hear his voice. My mom says i’m obsessive about Paul’s 42-hour bus ride that he started this evening. I guess the only busses I’ve ever ridden are Peruvian and that’s not something you want to be on for 42 hours. Last night I went to visit a girl named Ivy. She was in Spain with Bethany (a girl from 2G) last spring 2003 and she is working at Wycliffe as an intern this summer. Since neither of us have a lot of friends here in Orlando, Bethany suggested that we get together. Last night we did and it was a lot of fun. We took a walk and then sat and talked for a while. I have spent the weekend looking at wedding gowns. My taste in style has gone from relaxed to elegant, and I’m not sure where it stands right now. I’ve decided that there’s nothing like wedding dress shopping to make you feel heavier. For example, wedding dresses run 1 to 2 sizes small, so when you’re actually a 10, you should be trying on a 12 or 14 size dress. I think this is a mean trick to play on brides….
