I was really excited to see the Google homepage for today: Paddington hails from “darkest Peru”. :-) That part always made me happy. Actually, there was another missionary girl I grew up with in Peru who was given a Paddington doll by a relative in the States and was told to “take him home to Peru” which we all thought was cute. It always makes me happy to see references to Peru in literature, TV shows, movies, or popular culture….
I was going to say “This picture is for Monica” but I’m afraid she won’t go with me to see Wicked on Tuesday, so I will keep that comment to myself.
I still don’t have pictures! :-) But that’s my goal this week – clean up and unpack, and then take some pictures to post here! To satisfy the curious though, I DO have the floorplan of our apartment! This is the mirror image of our apartment, but otherwise it’s the same.

I posted this over on Beth’s blog, but wanted to make sure to mention it here as well. :-) My phone rang this evening, and when I looked down I saw Beth’s number.
