It’s a cold, dreary, rainy day here in Atlanta. I am sitting here sipping hot chicken noodle soup, which is really hitting the spot. I have a bad sinus cold, and woke up with a pounding headache because of it. I am feeling a lot better now thanks to Excedrin.

A friend picked me up this morning and we went to the store together to get food for our church’s food drive. I love shopping for things like this. I love shopping, period, and it’s always more fun when you are getting something for someone else who really needs it.

Speaking of holidays, I’m already starting to get really excited for Christmas. We are going to be in Atlanta for Christmas this year, and going to Orlando for Thanksgiving instead, so I am trying to gather my gifts in the next few weeks. I am mostly at a loss, but if I don’t get them before Thanksgiving I can always mail them later.

Well I was hoping to write more but I’m feeling sleepy so I might go lay down and get some shut-eye before Savannah wakes from her nap. The rain makes me sleepy…
