I feel uncreative right now, hence the title of this post.

I did laundry for the first time since moving into my apartment. I have been meaning to do it for a long time, but I kept getting stopped by lack of quarters, heavy thunderstorms, and most of all: laziness. But it’s done and now I have clean clothes. :-)

I also discovered this week that I have cable. I was getting so fed up with the poor reception from the bunny ears that I hooked it up to the cable jack on a whim, and discovered that the previous residents must have paid for cable and it was never turned off! We’ll see how long this lasts. The funny thing is that I still only watch the channels I got with the bunny ears (with the exception of Animal Planet). I mostly enjoy static-free TV and clear pictures. :-)

Tomorrow is June 10th, which is Rainbow’s birthday. Rainbow is a little stuffed cat that I’ve had since I was little. When we lived in Texas and Mexico, she was the only doll I was allowed to bring with me. Since then I have brought her everywhere I’ve been. Yes, she came with me when I went up to Indiana for my graduation. :-) When I was little I used to celebrate my dolls’ birthdays by throwing them a party (inviting my brother and sister and their dolls/stuffed animals) and making brownies. We would all bring “presents” and I usually took pictures of them with all the “presents” – just like my parents did with us and our presents at Christmas/birthday. I know, I am probably scaring everyone now. But I really love dolls (no, I don’t play with them or talk to them anymore). And no, I will not be throwing a birthay party tomorrow either. :-)
