I found out Friday evening that Paul was given next week off from work! Paul had put in for the vacation and his boss said with being so close to the elections he wouldn’t be able to take any time off. This past weekend, our church had a “Worship Weekend” which is what we call it when the choir sings at all three services (Saturday evening, and both services on Sunday morning). It’s usually a lot of time spent at the church, and a late night practice the Thursday before. I enjoy the worship weekends, though it does kinda kill the weekend for me. But that’s okay. Paddington

I was really excited to see the Google homepage for today: Paddington hails from “darkest Peru”. :-) That part always made me happy. Actually, there was another missionary girl I grew up with in Peru who was given a Paddington doll by a relative in the States and was told to “take him home to Peru” which we all thought was cute. It always makes me happy to see references to Peru in literature, TV shows, movies, or popular culture….
